AI refers to machines imitating human intelligence, while ML focuses on teaching machines to perform tasks and deliver accurate results by identifying patterns. Together, these technologies provide a solid foundation for building a successful career in various industries by understanding real-world applications such as OLA, chat bots, and e-payments. The need for skilled AI & ML professionals spans nearly every industry, including financial services, healthcare, agriculture, media and marketing, government and military, national security,  IoT-enabled systems,  agriculture, gaming and retail. Apart from working as software engineers and researchers, AI & ML engineers have varied career opportunities as in big data analyst, user experience designer, natural language processing engineers. Top MNCs like Amazon Web Services, Apple, Microsoft, and others actively recruit AI and ML professionals.

Apart from having a strong knowledge of applied mathematics and algorithms and good problem-solving abilities, the essential skills for AI & ML engineers include industry-specific knowledge, machine learning concepts and techniques.

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning have emerged as pivotal catalysts in transforming modern civilization, profoundly influencing sectors such as healthcare, cybersecurity, robotics, automation, finance, data analytics, intelligent computing, and sustainable development. In this era of unprecedented technological advancement, our department endeavours to equip students with a robust intellectual foundation, advanced technical proficiency, ethical consciousness, research acumen, and innovative thinking essential for academic distinction and professional eminence.
